Academic degree

A public thesis defense of the doctor of the Federal Neurosurgical Center, the Head of the OR, Roman V.Khalepa was held on December 16, 2022 in the Thesis Committee of the Novosibirsk Scientific Institute for Traumatology and Orthopedics. The theme of the thesis was “Differentiated surgical treatment of elderly and senior age patients with degenerative stenosis of spinal canal on lumbar level”.

The defense was vivid, it wasn’t held by the preliminary written script as it happens in some Thesis Committees. There were a lot of questions and a “crossfire discussion” as our English-speaking colleagues put it.

Dr.Roman Khalepa stood it up with flying colors. All the employees of the Center send their warmest congratulations to our colleague on obtaining a distinguished academic degree of the Candidate of Medicine!
