The XCth Meeting of the Siberian Association of Neurosurgeons in Khujand (Republic of Tajikistan)

A group of specialists from the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk) took part in the visiting meeting of the Siberian Association of Neurosurgeons “SibNeuro” in Khujand, the capital of Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Our specialists presented the following reports:

-       “Cerebellopontine angle tumors” (Jamil A.Rzaev, Physician-in-Chief of the Federal Neurosurgical Center);

-       “Classification and clinical characteristics of spinal tumors” and “Surgery of lumbar spine” (Murojon A.Kosimshoev, a neurosurgeon of spinal division of the Federal Neurosurgical Center).

The report on complications of subarachnoid hemorrhage and anesthesia in cases of awake craniotomy was presented by Dr.Vsevolod V.Luchanskiy, the Chief of anesthesiology and reanimation department. Julia G.Latypova, a scrub nurse of the Federal Neurosurgical Center delivered her report on specific features of surgery in up-to-date neurosurgery.

The presentations of our specialists evoked a vivid discussion. The participants of the meeting appreciated their colleagues headed by the neurosurgical department chief of Sughd regional clinical hospital, Dr.Mirzoev for their warm welcome and very interesting discussion.
