The VIth International Spine Tumor Days
The VIth international spine tumor day was held in Dresden (Germany) on May 20-21. The leading specialists from Germany, the USA, Great Britain, Italy, Hungary, Czech Republic and Russia took part in the conference.
The event was opened by the speech of oncological surgeon, Professor Alexander C.Disch (Germany). After that the reports on up-to-date issues were presented:
- “Molecular basis of spine tumors”;
- “Benign tumors and tumor involvements: resection methods and spine reconstruction”.
This time an online format of the conference was offered to the citizens of Russia and Syria. Dr.Murodjon A.Kosimshoev, a neurosurgeon of spinal division represented our Center and made an oral presentation on the “Results of surgical treatment of patients with spine plasmocytomas”.
Meeting of the well-known specialists, further collaboration and professional experience exchange will help implementing up-to-date methods and technologies of treatment patients with spine tumors into our clinical practice.
