An online meeting of the International Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery (ISPN)

An annual Meeting of the International Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery (ISPN) was held in online format during November 5-7, 2021. The organizers of the meeting decided to avoid the general practice of using existing programs for video-conferences holding. A separate platform in the form of a virtual conference-hall was developed by the organizers especially for this meeting. The main part of the scientific program took place in the “main hall”; the speakers from different countries presented their reports. The problems of diagnostics and treatment of the Central Nervous System in children were discussed during plenary sessions, surgical treatment of epilepsy, preventive measures and treatment of hydrocephalya, spinal dysraphias and many other topics. A separate “area” was intended for poster reports.

Dr.Sergey A.Kim, a neurosurgeon of pediatric division of the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk) presented his poster report on the “Proposal of new classification system for multiloculated hydrocephalus”.
