Results of the LXXVII meeting of “SibNeuro”, Siberial Association of Neurosurgeons

The LXXVII meeting of the Siberian Association of Neurosurgeons “SibNeuro” took place at the premises of the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk) on April 30, 2021. Neurosurgeons from Moscow and representatives of the Artistic Jazz Association of Novosibirsk were among the speakers.

The President of the meeting was Vidjay M.Dzhafarov, a neurosurgeon of the functional division of the Center.

Kirill V.Shevchenko, a neurosurgeon, junior research assistant of the Academician N.N.Burdenko Research Neurosurgical Center (Moscow) was the first speaker who presented his report. He told about idiopathic brain dropsy in adults. He also told how this pathology comes out, how it could be diagnosed correctly and what methods of its management exist.

The second report was presented by a neurosurgeon of the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” (Moscow), Dr.Elena V.Shevchenko. She told about rationing of neurosurgical air. She had interviewed specialists beforehand and analyzed the data not only from the side of neurosurgery but also from statistical and sociological points of view.

The President of the Artistic Jazz Association (Novosibirsk) Julia Demidova and her colleague Vladimir Shvets closed the meeting. The spoke about the process of establishment of a Jazz House in Novosibirsk and about significance of this project.

Each of the presented reports evoked great interest among the audience.

The next meeting of “SibNeuro” will be held on May 21, 2021 in Chelyabinsk.
