Dear patients and their relatives!

I am glad to welcome you on the website of the “Federal Neurosurgical Center". Our Center is designed to render high technological neurosurgical care.

Let me tell you about vascular division: it consists of 20 beds for 20 patients; comfortable conditions are created for residence of patients: single or semi-private rooms with shower, WC, desk, refrigerator and cupboards for clothes.  Highly experienced doctors and attentive nursing staff are working in the division having extensive knowledge and practical experience with patients.


Our department provides high technological medical care to the patients with pathology of brain vessels. We perform all types of diagnostics of brain vascular diseases including such methods as selective angiography, ultrasound scanning, MRI and CT- angiography. Our ORs are fitted with up-to-date medical equipment and tools; professional skills of our surgeons allow carrying out surgical procedures of any complexity on brain vessels.


Great experience in surgical treatment of brain vessels pathology is being accumulated this allows rendering high technological medical care to patients (microsurgical and endovascular interventions) with the following pathology:

  1. arterial aneurisms (ruptured and unruptured);

  1. arterio-venous brain and spinal cord malformations;

  1.  precerebral vesselss stenosis (internal carotid artery);

  1. cavernous brain and spinal cord angiomas;

  1.  carotid-cavernous fistulas.

Specialists of the division perform such operations as:

  • Microsurgical operations including endoscopic assistance with application of neurophysiological monitoring in the conditions of rupture or arterio-venous brain malformation in acute and subacute period of subarachnoid or intracerebral hemorrhage.

  • Microsurgical operations using intraoperative blood flow ultrasound control in cerebral arteries.·

  •  Stereotactic operations.  Puncture aspiration of intracerebral and intraventricular hematomas via neuronavigation.

  • Endovascular operations with the usage of non-adhesive glue composition, micro spirals, flow-diverter stents.

  • Resource-intensive endovascular operations with combined application of non-adhesive glue composition, micro spirals and stents.

  •  Endovascular operations using adhesive glue compositions.

  • Endovascular operations with the use of adhesive glue compositions and microemboluses.

·       Combined microsurgical + endovascular operations that are performed in arterio-venous brain malformations, angiomas, hemangiomas, hemangioblastomas, angiofibromas,  head,  neck and  brain paraganglioma, arterio-sinus and carotid-cavernous fistula. False aneurisms of internal carotid artery. Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasis (Randy-Osler-Weber disease).

·       Reconstructive operations on extracranial parts of cerebral arteries. Creation of extra-intracranial microvascular anastomosis.

·       Reconstructive operations on extracranial parts of cerebral arteries (carotid endarterectomy) are applied in occlusions, stenosis, embolism and thrombosis of extracranial parts of cerebral arteries. Cerebral ischemia as consequence of cerebrovascular diseases. Moya-Moya diseases.


Consultations on the base of our policlinic are carried out daily for the purpose of patients’ selection for rendering of highly technological medical care.

Andrey Dubovoy

Chief of the division, neurosurgeon of the highest qualification grade.  
In 1993 he has entered the Kemerovo state medical academy. After finishing in 1999, doctor Dubovoy has passed to clinical residency on neurosurgery on the base of Novokuznetsk state medical postgraduate institute.

Since 2000 he has worked as a neurosurgeon in the neurosurgical department of the city clinical hospital in Kemerovo.  
In November 2007 under the leadership of academician Krylov V. V., he took part in the training on surgery of cerebral aneurisms and intracerebral hemorrhages in the Sklifosovsky’s research institute.  
In 2008 doctor Dubovoy has organized neurosurgical division in the Kuzbass cardiological center where he has been working as its chief till May, 2013.  
In 2009 on the base of Research Institute named after Meshalkin he took part in the training on cerebral revascularization under the leadership of professor A.L.Krivoshapkin.  
In May 2012 he was a participant of the training on endonasal endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery of chiasmosellar area on the base of the University Clinic of Trier (Germany).

In December 2012 he studied at the University Clinic in Helsinki (Finland) under the leadership of Professor Juha Hernesniemi. In June 2014 he studied on advanced transnasal endoscopic skull base approaches in the Amsterdam Academic Medical Centre (the Netherlands). In July 2014 studied on the Milano Bicocca Microsurgery Course under the leadership of Rosemary Frick (University Milano Bicocca, Italy). 
Doctor Dubovoy has 1 invention patent and has several dozens of printing works. Doctor Dubovoy is the participant of regional, Russian and international conferences. 

As a teacher in the ACNS neurosurgical team Doctor Dubovoy involved in neurosurgical training courses in Asian countries.
Doctor Dubovoy is a full member of the European Association of Neurosurgical Surgeons (EANS) and Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons (ACNS).

Vladimir Guzhin

Vascular surgeon of the highest qualification grade.

In 1992 doctor Guzhin has graduated from the Chelyabinsk state medical institute.
He has 20-years’ experience in practical healthcare. He underwent trainings in the leading clinics of Russia and Europe.
In 2002 doctor Guzhin got the scientific degree of MD. Doctor Guzhin is the member of the European society of vascular surgeons (ESVS) and Russian society of angiologists and vascular surgeons. He is the participant of the Russian and international conferences.
He has 5 invention patents and more than 130 scientific publications.

Konstantin Ovsyannikov


In 2006 he has graduated from the Altay state medical university. In 2007 he has completed his internship in surgery on the base of Barnaul hospital. In 2007 he had passed primary specialization in neurosurgery on the base of Novokuznetsk state doctor-advancing University. Since 2008 till 2012 he has been working as the neurosurgeon in the Regional clinical hospital of Altai region.
Doctor Ovsyannikov has 8-years’ experience in practical healthcare.
The area of his scientific interests includes surgical treatment of arterial aneurisms of cerebral vessels.
Doctor Ovsyannikov is the participant of regional, Russian and international conferences. He has 5 scientific publications.

Artem Perfilyev


In 2006 he has graduated from Novosibirsk medical university.
He has 5-years’ experience in practical healthcare. Doctor Perfilyev has finished residency on neurosurgery in Novosibirsk research institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics.
In 2011 he underwent a training course in the Research Institute named after N.N. Burdenko (Moscow). Area of his scientific interests is presented by research of cognitive functions, the quality of life of patients with pathology of the central nervous system. Neurorehabilitation.
Doctor Perfilyev was a participant of the Russian and international conferences. He has 18 scientific publications.
