Our division is specialized in high-technology medical care to patients with vascular pathologies of brain. The staff of the division is well-experienced in surgical treatment of cerebral vessels allowing providing high-technology medical care to patients (open and endovascular surgery).
There are 24 beds for patients.
Maximally comfortable conditions are offered to little patient and their parents:
- one- and two-place wards;
- functional beds allowing easy patient care;
- built-in-furniture;
- bathroom in each ward;
- nurse-call system in each ward.
The list of surgical procedures includes:
- Microsurgery, including assisted endoscopic surgery with neurophysiologic monitoring in cases of arterial aneurysm rupture or arteriovenous malformation of brain in cases of acute-and-subacute period of subarachnoidal and cerebral hemorrhage.
- Cerebral arteries microsurgery with intraoperative ultrasonic control of blood-stream.
- Stereotactic surgery. Puncture aspiration of intracerebral and intraventricular hematoma with neuronavigation.
- Endovascular surgery with usage of non-adhesive composition, microcoils, stents changing aneurysm pressure.
- Resource-intensive endovascular surgery with combined usage of non-adhesive composition, microcoil and stents.
- Endovascular surgery with usage of adhesive composition.
- Endovascular surgery with usage of adhesive composition and microemboluses.
- Microsurgery + Endovascular surgery used for arteriovenous malformation of brain, angiomas, hemangiomas, hemangioblastomas, angiofibromas and paragangliomaof head, neck and brain.
- Sinoarterial, including carotid-cavernous fistulas. Pseudo-aneurysm of internal carotid artery. Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasis (Osler-Weber-Rendudisease).
- Surgical repair in extracranial cerebral arteries. Formation of extra-intracranial microvascular anastomosis.
- Surgical repair in extracranial cerebral arteries (carotid endarterectomy). They are applied in occlusions, stenosis, embolisms and extracranial cerebral arteries thrombosis, brain ischemia as a result of cerebrovascular diseases, Moyamoya diseas.
