Biography of V.V. Krylova

Vladimir Viktorovich Krylovwas born on March 11, 1957.

1981 – graduation from the First Leningrad Medical Institute named after academician I.P. Pavlova;

1982 – start of work at the Research Institute of Emergency Medicine named after. N.V. Sklifosovsky (first as a junior, later as a senior researcher at the department of emergency neurosurgery), where his teacher, Professor Vyacheslav Vasilyevich Lebedev, worked;

1987 – defense of the candidate’s dissertation;

1994 – defense of a doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Early surgical treatment of intracranial arterial aneurysms in vascular spasm and cerebral ischemia”;

1994 – management of the department of emergency neurosurgery of the Research Institute of Emergency Medicine named after. N.V. Sklifosovsky;

2003 – Head of the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroresuscitation of the Moscow State Medical and Dental University named after. A.I. Evdokimova;

1996-2010 – appointment as chief neurosurgeon of the Moscow Department of Health;

2005 – election as corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences;

2010 - scientific supervision of the Federal Center for Neurosurgery of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Tyumen);

2011 -  election as a full member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in the specialty “neurosurgery”;

2012. - scientific supervision of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Federal Center for Neurosurgery" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Novosibirsk).
