Hands-on course on brain white matter dissection

The hands-on course on brain white matter dissection was held in the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk) with participation of the specialists of the Center and Burdenko’s Neurosurgical Center (Moscow).

The following specialists were the faculties:

·         Anton V.Kalinovskiy, MD, PhD, a neurosurgeon, the Chief of the neuro oncological division of the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk);

·         Sergey A.Goryainov, MD, PhD, research assistant, a neurosurgeon of the “Academician Burdenko National Medical research Neurosurgical Center” (Moscow).

The course was divided into 2 parts: practical and theoretical. The faculties presented their lectures and then started practice. Detailed information about the hands-on course is placed on the website of the Siberian Association of Neurosurgeons (SibNeuro).

“Special aspects of intramedullary brain tumors” conference was held on December 17, 2021. Awake-surgery procedure was performed in the framework of the conference.
