The Head of the Oncological Division worked as a Trainee in Austria.

In June Dr.Sergey V.Chernov was on a traineeship in Vienna directed by Dr.Guenther Kleipeter. The traineeship took place at the premises of neurosurgical division of Krankenanstalt Rudolfstiftung hospital and lasted 4 weeks. During that time Dr.Sergey Chernov got an insight into principles and methods of Austian clinic activities, took part in surgical procedures (together with Dr.Guenther Kleinpeter) and established professional contacts with the leading specialists of the clinic.

An educational part of the traineeship was also in listening to lectures on topical issues of neurosurgery. Peculiarities of Austrian model of public health were also reviewed during the lectures.

Upon completion of his traineeship Dr.Chernov successfully passed an exam and got an international certificate.

Traineeship was extremely useful for Dr.Chernov either as a neurosurgeon or as the head of division. It goes without saying that the obtained experience will benefit to the oncological division of our Center.
