The victory of the doctors of the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk) in the interregional conference of vascular surgeons and neurosurgeons.
The XIVth interregional conference on vascular surgery integrated with the IInd interregional conference on cerebrovascular diseases surgery was held in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on July 15-19, 2015. More than 130 specialists from the leading medical establishments of Russia took part in the conference (105 vascular surgeons and 30 neurosurgeons).
Topical matters of surgical treatment of brain vascular diseases, ischemic heart diseases and some other diseases were discussed during the conference. The events were organized and held involving Russian Angiologists and Vascular Surgeons Society, Russian Association of Neurosurgeons and Government of the Kamchatka region.
The conference was visited by the well-known world specialists: academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Renat Akchurin, the President of the Russian Angiologists and Vascular Surgeons Society, academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Anatoliy Pokrovskiy, Director of the Institute named after Dzhanelidze, Professor Valery Parfenov, the Chief Neurosurgeon of the Russian Public Health Ministry, academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Vladimir Krylov.
The program of the event included the visit to the vascular center functioning in Kamchatka regional hospital named after Lukashevskiy. Doctors of our Center, Andrey V.Dubovoy and Vladimir E.Guzhin took the premier places in neurosurgical and vascular sections according to the results of the conference.
