The Head of oncological division, Sergey V.Chernov took an observership with Professor Ali F.Krisht (The USA).
From November 22 till December 15, 2014 the Head of oncological division of the Federal Neurosurgical center, Sergey V. Chernov had been staying in the USA for an observership of one of the leading well-known neurosurgeons, Professor Ali F.Krisht (Little Rock, Arkansas, the USA). Professor Krisht deals with surgical treatment of complex oncological and neurovascular pathology of skull base (surgery of cavernous sinus tumors).
During the observership Dr.Chernov had a chance not only to present during surgical procedures but also took part in discussion of patients, their checkup during consultations. He also had an opportunity to stay in a specially equipped laboratory for skills training of surgical approaches and studying of brain surgical anatomy.
