“Surgical cerebral revasculization” workshop.

On November 10 – 14, 2014 the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk, Russia) will host a workshop on “Surgical cerebral revasculization”.
The course will be held by N.V.Sklifosovsky Scientific and Research Institute of First Aid, department of neurosurgery and neuro intensive care unit of Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I.Evdokimov, the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk) and International School of Post-graduate education “Aesculap Academy”.
The course is focused on surgical aspects of cerebral revasculization. Some lectures on basic items of cerebral revasculization. During the practical trainings participants will hone their skills of microvascular suture with the help of some medications and laboratory animals. The program of the course includes the following demonstration surgical procedures: carotid endarterectomy and extra-intracranial anastomosis technique.
