Hippocrates Cup 2022

“Hippocrates Cup” is an ice hockey competition among the teams consisting of physicians. This competition was launched in 2018. Andrey Baranov and Pavel Zhuravlev are the organizers of this event.

It is held in Sochi, Krasnodar region.

The specialness of the Cup is that only the graduates of medical universities having higher education diploma in medicine and valid certificate are allowed for participation.

The “Hippocrates Cup 2022” on ice hockey among medical teams started on October 24, 2022. 10 hockey teams consisting of physicians took part in the competition. They came from Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Anapa, Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, Saratov, Kurgan, Perm’, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Sochi, Maikop, Ulan-Ude.

A neurosurgeon of our Center, Head of neurovascular division, Aleksey O.Sosnov took part in the competition in the team of “Doctors of Russia”.
