The XCIIIrd Meeting of the Siberian Association of Neurosurgeons
The XCIIIrd meeting of the Siberian Association of Neurosurgeons “SibNeuro” was held on October 28, 2022 at the premises of the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk). Andrey V.Gavryushin, MD, PhD, neurosurgeon of the 7th neurosurgical department of the Academician N.N.Burdenko National Medical Research Center (Moscow). The specialists of our Center also presented their reports: Dr.Andrey V.Dubovoy from neurovascular division and Anton V.Kalinovskiy, Head of neurooncological division.
Dr.Andrey V.Gavryushin presented his report on “Primary tumors of brain stem” where he developed modern classification of all expansive brain processes, highlightened the issues of diagnostics and tactics of surgical treatment in each type of expansive process of brain stem.
Dr.Anton V.Kalinovskiy presented his report on “Surgery of the IV ventricles” where he described the experience of our Center on surgery of similar formations and told about diagnostics and treatment tactics.
The report of Dr.Andrey V.Dubovoy was devoted to “Surgical treatment of brain stem cavernomas” where he spoke about diagnostics, surgical tactics; shared experience of our Center of such pathology treatment.
