Results of the XCIInd Meeting of the Siberian Association of Neurosurgeons
The XCIInd visiting meeting of the Siberian Association of Neurosurgeons “SibNeuro” took place at the premises of the “The Central Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of N.N.Priorov” (Moscow) on October 7, 2022. The program of the conference was devoted to major aspects of vertebrology at the nexus of various fields: neurosurgery and traumatology.
The meeting agenda consisted of 11 reports on degenerative pathology and spine deformations; the specialists of the Central Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics presented a very interesting report on surgical treatment of aneurysmal bone cysts in children. The specialists of our Center presented 4 reports:
- The choice of instrumental fixing method in cases of degenerative and dystrophic lumbar spine diseases (Dr.Yuliy E.Kubetskiy);
- The report on arthroplasties (Dr.Yuliy E.Kubetskiy);
- Degenerative scoliosis in adults (Ivan I.Vasilenko);
- Stage treatment of patients with sagittal misbalance (Ivan I.Vasilenko).
The students, residents and post-degree students of CRITO took part in the conference apart from practicing doctors, neurosurgeons, traumatologists and orthopedists. The reports evoked vivid discussion and great interest to the Siberian school of vertebrology. The specialists of our Center had also participated in the weekly summery conference where they could discuss clinical cases and complications.
