Otorhinolaryngology in Neurosurgery

Otorhinolaryngology is a sphere of medicine specializing in diagnostics and treatment of different pathologies of ear, throat, nose and also neck and head.

Treatment of patients with neurosurgical pathology demands interdisciplinary approach including collaboration with otorhinolaryngologists. More often it concerns skull base, paranasal sinuses and petrosal bone surgery. Besides, some brain diseases may initially manifest in complaints from ENT-organs.

Dr.Julia G.Babishkina deals with the problems of otorhinolaryngology in our Center.

She participates in diagnostics of such diseases in our patients, performs all types of necessary pre-operational check-ups (endoscopic check-up, audiometry); she also monitors patients after surgery together with neurosurgeons.
