“The Basic Principles of Infusion Therapy and Clinical Nourishment” Conference

The Conference on “The basic principles of infusion therapy and clinical nourishment” was held in Novosibirsk on September 14-15, 2022.

Infusion therapy* in anesthesiology and reanimation is an integral part of treatment of patients in critical conditions and is nominally divided into pre-operational and post-operational.

In the framework of the Conference its participants discussed what infusion equipment is used in modern medical institutions, what problems could be solved (transfusion of blood and its components, infusion of enteral and parenteral nutrition, etc.). The rules of infusion lines of different types application depending on chosen therapy were also discussed.

The conference consisted not only of reports. Participants of the event had an opportunity to be a part of a hands-on course.

The following specialists of Intensive Care Division of our Center took part in the Conference: Vitaliy V.Babenko, Nadezhda Y.Turbina, Ksenia A.Beskletko and Svetlana I.Yarik.

Participation in similar events is very important because it allows sharing our own experience and get new knowledge from our colleagues, to improve our professional level.
