The meeting of the World Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery took place in Incheon (South Korea) on September 4-7, 2022. You may find detailed program on the website of the event.
There were 6 neurosurgeons from Russia among almost 700 participants. Dr.Jamil A.Rzaev, Physician-in-Chief of the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk) presented his poster report on the first results of trigeminal nerve root microrecording.
As it always happens in Korea, the organizational level was very high. The main thing was fantastic reports presented during the conference, devoted to the present and future of the functional neurosurgery.
The next meeting of the WSSFN will be held in September 2024 in Chicago (the USA). Our countryman and close friend of our Center, Professor Kontantin V.Slavin was elected as a President of the WSSFN for 2 years. We are sending our congratulations to Professor Slavin with such an honorable but very demanding position; we are very proud to be in warm relationship with him and are making plans for further collaboration!
