Meshalkin’s Readings

An annual conference on cardio-vascular surgery and allied disciplines “Meshalkin’s Readings” was held in Novosibirsk. The specialists of the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk), Dr.Andrey V.Dubovoy and Aleksandr B.Dmitriev took part in this conference.

Dr.Dubovoy presented his report on possibilities of microsurgical treatment of arterial aneurysms during “Vascular neurosurgery” session. Dr.Dmitriev delivered his report on complications of deep brain stimulation systems implantation during “Neurosurgery in treatment of extrapyramidal pathology” session. Scientific readings devoted to the memory of the Academician E.N.Meshalkin, united more than 300 specialists from all over the country: cardiologists and cardio-vascular surgeons, oncologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, radio-therapists.
