The XIIIth Russian Academic Workshop and Competition

The XIIIth Russian (final) academic workshop and competition with international participation of students and young scientists “AVICENNA-2022” was held on April 14, 2022. It was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Professor I.G.Ursov, a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. This conference is a traditional for Novosibirsk State Medical University and is held annually. The event consisted of many medical sessions where the students and young scientists from different cities of Russia present their reports.

Two residents of the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk), Yegor D.Anisimov and Aleksandra S.Sazonova presented their reports during this conference. Dr.Anisimov told the audience about endovascular and microsurgical occlusion of aneurysms of posterior inferior cerebellar artery during “Neurology and neurosurgery” session; and Dr.Sazonova presented her report on “Evaluation of cervical and brachial plexus roots changes in cases of avulsive disorders” during “X-ray diagnostics” session.

Both young doctors were took the first places in their sessions in “The best scientific work of a young scientist” nomination.
