The Trip of “Neurosurgeons on Skies” Russian Club to the Mountains

A regular meeting of the Russian Club “Neurosurgeons on Skies” was held from February 12 till 19, 2022. This time Kopaonik ski resort became the meeting point of neurosurgeons, members of their families, friends and people sharing neurosurgical life ideas. This is a very picturesque place in a very welcoming country. Serbians themselves love their country very much and this love is immediately spread to all the visitors. How can it be otherwise if you face true kindness, politeness, humor, tasty food and good skiing in picturesque mountains of Serbia?

Traditionally two meetings are held apart from skiing. Program reports are presented, co-chairmen direct discussions into the scientific academic way, experienced specialists and experts share their opinions, ask questions, etc. In general, everything is like during ordinary neurosurgical meetings. The specific nature of this meeting is that reports are presented not only by neurosurgeons but also by the members of their families, children of different age, as a rule. Nobody knows whether they will become neurosurgeons but it’s very important and useful for them to obtain discussion holding skills and to gain experience of public speaking. The most important emotion of such visiting meetings and conferences is joy of the trip, mountains, skies, snow and great company.
