The goal of the webinar was to highlight epidemic nerves injury in the world and also to state the priorities and difficulties that prevent obtaining comprehensive medical aid by patients with peripheral nerves disorders.

World-known neurosurgeons dealing with the pathology of peripheral nerves took part in the webinar: S.Ferraresi (Italy), L.Rasulic (Serbia),  E.Zager (USA), M.Socolovsky (Argentina), R.Spinner (USA), K.Desai (India), F.Guedes (Brasil), P.Shrestha (Nepal), J.Ntalaja

(Kongo). The Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk) was presented by Dr.Natalia P.Denisova, a neurosurgeon of functional division. She delivered her report on iatrogenic injuries of peripheral nerves.

Comprehensive surgery of peripheral nerves is not available in many regions of the world even nowadays. Annually about 4000-7000 people need peripheral nerves surgery. About 60% of patients with peripheral nerve trauma become disabled for the whole their lives. Similar events are important to attract the attention of world medical community to this problem and also to specify possible variants of this problem solving.
