In the end of his speech Dr.Kalinovsky concluded that the usage minimally invasive methods in the surgery of deep brain tumors is reasonable and preferential for maximum removal or tumor nidus in cases of minimal trauma to the surrounding brain structures. It also allows shortening of surgery time, decreasing blood loss, preserving functionally significant structures, decreasing / improving life quality in post-operational period.
