A Visit of Vladimir G.Dashyan.

During April 18-20 our Center hosted Vladimir G.Dashyan, Professor of Neurosurgery and Neuro Intensive Care of Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry, the Head of neurosurgical division of Research Institute of cerebrovascular pathology and stroke of Russian State Medical University, a Member of the Russian Association of Neurosurgeons.

He presented a lecture on “Modern approaches to treatment of cerebrovascular brain diseases”. He reviewed the issues of diagnostics and therapeutic approaches to surgical treatment of arterial brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, cavernous angiomas, hypertensive hemorrhages.

Professor Dashyan also took part in ward rounds and patients’ clinical discussions.

There were some surgical show-cases on surgery of brain aneurysms of internal carotid artery and vertebrobasilar systems.

A visit of Professor Dashyan is a great honor for our Center, communication with such great specialists allows our doctors widen their professional scope.
