Siberian Practical Course on Endovascular Neurosurgery.

“Siberian practical course on endovascular neurosurgery” was held at the premises of the Federal Neurosurgical Center under support of Johnson&Johnson company on March 30-31, 2016.

Vitality S.Kiseljev, a neurosurgeon of neurovascular division became a trainer of the course. During 2 days Dr.Kiseljev gave 3 lectures and performed 4 surgical procedures for beginners from different regions of Russia.

The themes of the lectures were as follows:

• “Modern endovascular methods of brain aneurysms treatment”;

• “Techniques and peculiarities of endovascular operations in cases of brain aneurysms treatment”;

• “Complication in surgery of brain aneurysms”.

The final stage of the training was activities on Vist-C simulator (embolization of brain aneurysms).

It was the second time when such course was held in the Federal Neurosurgical Center and we are glad that participants of the first course have come to us again.
