The doctors of spinal division participated in a workshop in Singapore.
From October 31 till November 1, there was the 8th Advanced Cervical Spine Surgery Course) in Singapore. Aleksej V.Evsjukov, a neurosurgeon of the spinal division underwent training and presented a clinical case.
The event included lectures, debates, discussion of clinical cases, practical trainings and fulfilment of modern surgical procedures methods on cervical spine: different variants of dorsal fixation and decompression, transoral and transnasal operations, ways of ventral fixation and decompression with the use of screw constructions. Professors from Singapore National University and invited doctors from Korea and Japan shared their experience during the workshop.
Different surgical methods and techniques mastered during the workshop will be used by the doctors of spinal division of our center for treatment of patients with various diseases and damages of cervical spine (tumorous damages of spine and nervous structures, trauma and deformation of cervical spine).
