On June 06, 2014 Vladimir Lazarevich Zelman had visited the Federal Neurosurgical Center.

The Head Doctor, Jamil A.Rzaev arranged an excursion and showed clinical divisions of the Center. The Head of anesthesiology and resuscitation division, Vsevolod V.Luchanskiy showed to Professor Zelman intensive care unit and its equipment.

Vladimir Lazarevich Zelman is an outstanding Russian and American doctor and scientist.

He graduated from the medical faculty of Novosibirsk Medical University. Starting from 1961 he was the Head of neuro-anesthesiological division of Neurology Institute in Moscow. In 1975 he moved to the USA. He is the head of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Department of Southern California University in Los-Angeles.; professor, an Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, an Honorary Professor of Military Medical Academy in St.-Petersburg.
