Pre-meeting Course on Intraoperative Neuromonitoring
Dear colleagues, friends!
In the “main” announcement concerning the IIIrd Siberian Neurosurgical Congress I have already noticed about pre-meeting course on intraoperative neuro monitoring. Now I would like to clarify this educational event in detail.
The course will be held at the premises of the Federal Neurosurgical Center. During 3 days (on July 11-13) the participants of the course will actively discuss theoretic topics and to implement different methods of intraoperative neuro monitoring in the ORs.
The event promises to be very interesting. Intensive activities are supposed to be since 8 a.m. till 7 p.m. each day. Short lectures that will last for 20-30 minutes each will be combined with surgical activities. We are planning to make an ambitious program. Studying of spine monitoring, monitoring in the area of cerebello-pontine angle, cellar region and supratentorial localization will be included into the schedule of the course.
Due to the fact that it is supposed that foreign specialists will take part in the course, English was chosen as an official language of the event. Moreover, it is evident that all the doctors who deal with intraoperative neuro monitoring - a well-developing, science-driven and technologically improved sphere – speak English on the appropriate level.
All students will participate in surgical activities in the ORs so that is why we decided to divide the course into 2 parts – lectures and practice. Thus, the number of participants will be limited to 20 students.
