Postgraduate Training Program for Young Specialists
Postgraduate training Program for young specialists continues at the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk).
As of this date, the neurosurgeons from Ulan-Ude, Barnaul, Abakan and Novoskuznetsk successfully participated in this Program. It is supposed that after graduation the specialist work in neurosurgical divisions in the regions of the Siberian Federal District.
At present young specialists from Irkutsk, Novokuznetsk and Novosibirsk take part in the Program. Our center has a possibility to widen the Program and increase the number of participants.
We provide young specialists with a unique chance to be involved into very intensive 2-years neurosurgical training: Program participants take an active part in medical activities at workplaces on all sphere of present neurosurgery (pediatric, spinal, vascular, oncological and functional neurosurgery).
There are several research laboratories to train certain manual skill in our Center.
Various educational events are regularly held at the premises of the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk) to theoretical and practical training of young specialists and their postgraduate education. During their training young specialists have chance to be in close collaboration with foreign specialists that allows catching up with world level in neurosurgical pathology treatment.
2-years’ training in the framework of a Program supposes full working process with official employment in the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk) with a competitive financial compensation allowing a young specialist living in a big city during the whole period of his training; such compensation will be enough to Program participants with families and children.
Thus, the Training Program provides a specialist with a great chance to work with up-to-date medical equipment. Joint activities with high-qualified specialists of our Center will allow skills and improve professional level of a specialist.
Qualifying requirements for applicants:
- Active persons striving at professional career development in neurosurgery up to 40 years old;
- Hardworking and stress-resistant;
- Higher medical education obtained in accordance with Federal State educational standards;
- Specialist certificate in “Neurosurgery”;
- Educational degree certifying studying in residency in “Neurosurgery”;
- English skills (“Upper Intermediate”).
